Our friend Jonathan Capehart has always been an amazing client and great source of inspiration whether it’s a brand for the launch of his podcast or an engagement announcement.

Jonathan Capehart gets engaged, We get a shout-out on MSNBC. Everybody Wins.

Cerebral Itch recently had the honor of creating the engagement announcement image for The Beltway's most dapper man of letters, MSNBC contributor and Washington Post Pulitzer Prize winning columnist, Jonathan Capehart. Last week, during a romantic Roman holiday, he became engaged to U.S. State Department, Assistant Chief of Protocol/Diplomatic Partnerships, Nick Schmit.

During the "Tell Me Something I don't Know" segment on MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews, Jonathan beamed as he let the viewer in on his news. And that is when our artwork graced the screen, causing Chris Matthews to inquire about the image. To which Jonathan graciously gave us an on-air mention. And here we were already tearing up over the announcement.
